This week we will be able to hear from 6 young ladies within our youth group that went on the mission trip to Cuba. This will be more of a "fun" night with games, Cuban food and fellowship. Pray that relationships are made stronger with one another and in the Lord.

This Wednesday, March 30th we will begin a new program at South Grenville District High School called "Random Acts". We are in the process of asking local businesses to help fund this program. God is our provider in all things, pray that he has already put giving in the hearts of those I visit. I would also ask that you pray for Sarah.  She is the teen asking fellow students to join this group.  Pray for protection, and strong belief that God will move through this group for lasting change in her High School. Final planning meeting for the Holy Spirit weekend will be on April 6.  Please pray we are hearing clearly from God about direction as the plans continue to come together.

On Tuesday night at youth we will be watching the Youth Alpha video inviting them to Follow Jesus. This is a fitting discussion with Easter in the coming week.  Pray for clear understanding and desire to know more of what it means to follow Jesus. "Made to Thrive" with Spirit Borne from Belleville Youth Unlimited and Prescott Kids Choir was a beautiful performance to experience.  The underlying theme for the night was one of hope. Pray that these seeds will grow into sustained fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  More "Made to Thrive" pictures here!

On March 30th we will begin a new program at South Grenville District High School called "Random Acts". We are not able to speak about Jesus in the high school, so through this program we hope to show them Jesus. It is our hope that this group will work as an intro to our teaching time on Tuesday nights. We will be hosting a final meeting for this weekend (April 8-9) including all volunteers in the last week of March. Continue to pray that as this time draws closer we see where God is leading and have a clear path to follow. On June 3, 2016 we are planning on working with churches in the Upper Canada region to do a Youth Rally at the outdoor amphitheater in Prescott. The theme for this Rally will be based on Proverbs 8:21: "Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose." There will be a specific call to youth about how they interact with social media. Please pray for vision to be understood and clear, and for each part of the body (churches) participating to know where they would best fit into this time together. On a personal note, My children and I are all sick following a busy March Break, and ministry weekend. I know God will provide the strength needed for us all to be sustained in the physical!   "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. This Friday the group of teens from Belleville will make the final stop of their tour in Prescott.  Please keep this event in prayer all day.  The main reason we have brought this group into Prescott to perform is to bless this small town with a HUGE message.  We know the impact of such a message, and we are asking that the Lord make himself known to the people here that do not know him; that this time could be the beginning of finding their forever home in Christ Jesus. Please focus your prayer on this event. As God pours out his Spirit, pray that the believers will have the wisdom in their response to love and to walk among those seeking Him. Thank you for lifting us up in prayer.  I know that as people are added to this prayer list, a bit of ground is also gained in the Kingdom of God. We wouldn't be doing this without your help. On Tuesday night at youth we will be watching the Youth Alpha video about the Bible. It can take a lot of discipline as a teen to want to read the written Word of God. Please pray God gives the youth a hunger to know Him more through His word. This date is quickly approaching. It has been encouraging to see God bless the community of Prescott Kids Choir as we work together to make this show reality. Please pray that peoples hearts will be open and ready to be changed by the message of this performance, and that the children will endure through a potentially long day. 6 of the girls from our youth group will be leaving March 9th, in the wee hours of the morning to go on a mission trip to Cuba for a week. Please remember Sarah S, Sarah J, Katie, Karolyn, Rae-Lynne, and Shyla in Prayer as they travel. Also for the leaders in their discussion time with the girls. Mission trips can change lives of those being served, but also of those serving.

We are excited for the youth to receive some grounded teaching at this weekend about the third part of the Trinity. Please pray that the time leading up to this weekend continues to be fruitful, and that wisdom grows in the way this subject matter is presented. We have been dreaming about doing a youth Rally at the amphitheater in Prescott this summer. Please pray that we continue to hear clearly from God in taking this project on. There is already a clear theme and "call" to youth coming into focus for this time. This, as all of the other ministry needs to be soaked in Prayer as we move forward. We cant thank you enough for the continued emails and encouragement from all of you. So much of what has been happening in Prescott has been a result of prayer. Know that your support has been making a difference not just for YFC, but for all of the believers that live here. God bless all that you do in Jesus' name.
