Upper Canada Youth For Christ, serving rural youth ministries in Upper Canada by building relationships, sharing resources and following the pulse of God where it is already beating
This week at youth we have invited all of the parents to a potluck to celebrate the end of Alpha with us.  Not all of the parents are believers, and so we would ask that you would pray for bold love, gentle spoken truth, and for God to open the eyes of the hearts of those whom he chooses to hear from Him that night. Pray all will be hungry for Christ centered, authentic community. Pray for relationships to be healed and renewed, and for Jesus Christ to be the center.
Our week at a glance...
This week is so crazy busy that I almost decided not to request Prayer, but imagine what a disaster that might have been.  Here is what we will be needing your prayer for in the next week:

Tuesday May 3
  • Brockville Ministerial to speak about Alpha Global Campaign at lunch.
  • All teaching for the Youth Rally teaching series must be finished and edited
  • In the evening we have Youth, our Parent Celebration Pot luck dinner for Alpha
Wednesday May 4
  • at SGDHS doing the Random Acts group
  • Finish Editing all teaching for youth Rally
Thursday May 5
  • Youth leaders gathering for Breakfast in Brockville

Friday May 6
  • Leadercast at Centennial Road church, Brockville. YFC will be taking pictures and doing social media posts for Leadercast Brockville
Saturday May 7
  • Talking at a Ladies Breakfast in Russel about Upper Canada YFC
Sunday May 8
  • Final Practice before "All About Jo" with Prescott Kids Choir

Prayer is so very important to myself and the ministry I am a part of.  It keeps me focused, accountable, and connected to each person who cares about what we are doing. There are so many stories of peoples lives being affected by how God is moving.  He is on the move... and I cannot help but wonder if something "GREAT" even greater than we have experienced is on its way. Let us pray this way... As simplistic as it might sound, God, pour out your greatness over our dry and thirsty land. Make us more desperate to see you move, move as you must, and do what you must in order for your will to be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Amen.
