What about the Church?

Upper Canada Youth For Christ, serving churches in Upper Canada by building  relationships, sharing resources, and following the pulse of God where it is already  beating.
Tonight at youth we will be watching the Alpha video about the Church. It is important for youth to understand the quality of being and staying connected with a local church throughout their whole lifetime. Please pray that the concept and purpose of "church" is revealed, and that the youth see a need in being committed to a local faith community. Father, give us the words we need to speak.
6 of our Youth came to the youth service at St. John Anglican this past Sunday. It is always a pleasure to put the old with the new, and see God working among His people through every age group. Please pray for relationships to grow, and continued blessing on all of the rural churches in Upper Canada.
2 major things this week...
Wednesday May 3 we will be attending the youth fair at South Grenville District High School. in past years we have been the only Christian youth provider in attendance. We have "swag bags" are giving out to youth with information about youth Alpha being run in the school next year. We pray for favour and to be a bring light in dark places.
Friday May 5, we will be hanging out with eight youth who have been sponsored to attend Leadercast from 4 high schools in Athens, Brockville and Prescott. Pray for our lunch hour together as we build relationships and have conversations about what it means to be a purpose driven leader in today's world.
